Project Manager

ACM has an opening for a Project Manager. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with clients to facilitate the identification of opportunities for organizational improvement and to deliver training and workshops that enable the underlying cultural changes required to ensure lasting benefits.
Your responsibilities
  • Leveraging your analytical abilities and leadership skills, you will:
  • Work closely with clients to identify opportunities that will drive business improvement
  • Develop custom continuous improvement programs for customers and provide ongoing support of their improvement initiatives
  • Manage projects to ensure they stay within scope, schedule and budget
  • Build and maintain client relationships through ongoing communication to ensure engagement; secure trust and support throughout each project; and organically identify future business opportunities
  • Prepare training plans and materials to educate clients on organizational analysis and improvements based on lean engineering principles and change management
  • Lead Process Improvement workshops, helping teams to gather and analyze information on current state, define the desired future state and identify what is necessary to achieve their outcomes
  • Run educational sessions and train cross functional teams in the successful application of lean tools and techniques

  • Ability to define a problem, collect and analyze data, and facilitate creation of effective solutions
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, engaging with employees at all levels of the organization, from various industries, with different educational and functional backgrounds
  • Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of and success applying Lean Engineering principles.
  • Post-secondary education
  • PMP Certification is considered an asset
NOTE: a large portion of the work we do is onsite with our clients.  The successful candidate will need access to a car, a valid driver’s license, and must be willing and able to meet the travel requirements of the job.  Many our clients are in the Golden Horseshoe & South-Western Ontario, though there is potential to work with clients outside of this geography.
